Looking for a slice of MotoGP history? Martin Heath, one of the worldâs leading MotoGP photographers is releasing two of his most celebrated images as very limited edition canvas prints.
Martin has captured the drama, passion and excitement of the worldâs premier motorcycle racing class in these two stunning images. Available as 12âx16â full bleed canvas prints, they will be limited to just 20 each - numbered and signed by the photographer himself. With these stunning works of art gracing your walls, youâre guaranteed to be the envy of all your bikesport-mad friends.Â
âVR46 Elbow Downâ - This unique image of The Doctor was captured during the qualifying session at Catalunya in 2009, and is the only time that Rossi has been snapped with his Dainese leather-clad elbow dragging along the asphalt. The nine-times world champion liked the image so much that it became his mobile phone wallpaper! âElbow Downâ quickly established itself as one of the most iconic and talked about images of Rossiâs illustrious Yamaha era.Â
âThe Passâ - Possibly the MotoGP racing moment of the 2010 season in what MCN has dubbed the Race of the Year. Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo clash during the closing stages of round 14 at Motegi, and Martin was once again âIn the right place at the right timeâ, to capture this memorable scene. The win had gone away from the two Yamaha riders, but pride was at stake for the final step on the podium. Determined to stamp his authority over the champion elect, Rossi forced his way through in an epic last lap battle to claim third.Â
Martin Heath:
"I get lots of enquiries from people wanting to purchase my work, so I wanted to give something back to the fans this year at Christmas and make it affordable but at the same time very collectable and unique. Hence, this one-off offer to celebrate Valentino's Yamaha Years that have brought me great pleasure and many photographic memories."
âVR46 Elbow Downâ and âThe Passâ are available now to order direct from Martin Heath Photography. Priced at just £90.00 each plus p&p they are a small price to pay for a slice of MotoGP history. And, as the saying goes, âSnooze and you lose!â
